Join us for a conversation about the history of affordable housing, how it has influenced the current landscape in NYC, and the bills/policies Habitat NYC is working towards to continue developing and preserving affordable housing. Panelists will then host breakout sessions focused on training guests how to advocate and mobilize.

  

About HYP NYC
Habitat Young Professionals New York City (HYP NYC) is a membership-based leadership organization comprised of industry and community leaders, ages 21 to 40, who leverage their skills and engage their networks in support of Habitat NYC. Through advocacy and fundraising efforts HYP NYC members work to actualize Habitat NYC’s mission for a city - and world - where everyone has a decent place to live.

HYP NYC events engage both HYP NYC members and the general public, and are designed to educate them about Habitat NYC’s impact beyond the build site. Each event targets specific demographics through lifestyle interests aligned with the event theme, featuring a keynote or panel, networking reception, and breakout sessions or experiences.
